Usage / Properties / Application

A citrus-derived hesperidin derivative positioned for anti-redness, eye-contour, soothing, and antioxidant-repair formulations, especially where visible puffiness, vascular dullness, or post-UV irritation are key concerns. HMC has shown antioxidant activity in cell-free systems, including ferric-reducing power, ABTS and hydroxyl radical neutralization, and inhibition of lipid peroxidation; a topical HMC formulation also reduced UVB-induced skin oxidative stress and inflammation in vivo. It is therefore suitable for under-eye, anti-fatigue, sensitive-skin, after-sun, and brightening-support products where the positioning is botanical-derived microvascular support + anti-inflammatory antioxidant protection.
