Our story begins far earlier than 2024.

My name is Cheng Xi, CEO of iTra International Trading Co., Ltd.
I sincerely thank you for visiting our website.
At the age of 15, Chengxi moved alone from China to the United States to pursue her education. By 20, she entered the Materials Science & Engineering PhD program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)—one of the world’s leading engineering institutions.
After earning her PhD at 25, she joined Intel Corporation as a Thin Film Engineer, working on high-precision semiconductor processes where nanometer-level accuracy, traceability, and quality systems are non-negotiable.
This scientific rigor directly shapes the way we run iTra today.
In 2023, Chengxi returned to China to participate in her family’s long-established chemical manufacturing business, and soon identified a clear gap in international sourcing:
Manufacturers abroad need reliable, technically competent partners who deliver data, compliance, and quality—not excuses.
In 2024, she founded iTra International, achieving over 1 million RMB monthly turnover within the first year.
Today, Chengxi lives primarily in California, traveling frequently between the U.S and China—bridging real-time Western market demand with China’s most advanced manufacturing capabilities.
