Usage / Properties / Application
It provides both UVB protection at 280–320 nm and UVA protection at 320–400 nm, with strong photostability and low water solubility, making it especially useful for durable daily sunscreen, outdoor SPF, anti-photoaging, and pigmentation-prevention products.
A key formulation advantage is that BEMT can improve the photostability of less stable filters such as avobenzone, helping build more reliable broad-spectrum sunscreen systems with stronger long-wear performance.
